Rugby Wrap Up!
The All blacks continued their domination over the Wallabies this year this far when they beat their neighbours 22-0 at the house of pain on Saturday! The World Champions maintained their unbeaten record against the Aussies at Dunedin on Saturday, a feat that dates back to 1986! The match was a special one not only due to the win which places New Zealand on top of the Rugby Championship table but also because of a certain young prodigy who played his last game before leaving for Japan. Sonny Bill Williams has been phenomenal in his time spent in rugby union and has made the biggest impact ever in the game since his introduction to the dicipline.SBW will play one season in Japan before returning to Rugby League in Australia. The superstar hinted that the rugby universe couls expect to see his return in 2014 shortly before NZ set out top defend their RWC title.
Meanwhile South Africa failed to make a solid impression over Argentina after the Los Pumitas deserverdly halted the Bokke to a 16-16 draw in Mendoza in the South America’s inaugral match in their home country. The Argentines were far more impressive that their counterparts as the Safricans failed to make an impression from the start with poor decision-making. Coach Heyneke Meyer blamed their dissapointing loss on inexperience. The team was looking to bag another victory over the South Americans but this was not to be as the Los Pumitas refused to have it written that they would lose their first ever Rugby Championship match in their home land. Well done Argentina.
