The Dark Knight Ending

The Dark Knight Rises was the final installment to Chris Nolan‘s Batman trilogy and all i can say is, wow! After viewing it a second time i’m am convinced that it was undoubtedly the most rewarding epic trilogy for a long time and it will be

a long time before we see another of similar caliber.

Firstly for all those haters out there saying that Nolan couldn’t get a better villain than the joker, you’re right he couldn’t. The Joker was meant to be the villain of this last installment as well, that was the plan all along but unfortunately Heath Ledger had succumb to an overdose of sleeping pills before he could even see the Dark Knight. So initially after Heath’s passing Chris Nolan announced that they weren’t going to do a third film because at the time it “just didn’t seem possible.”

But Jonathan Nolan came up with a script that was workable, and I suspect what they did was take the original idea for the third film, remove the Joker and replace him with Bane. Replacing the Joker is not an easy task and to improvise on a script at such a large-scale is not easy either  but they pulled it off very very convincingly.

Here’s a few screenshots for those of you who wanna relive the magic of the DC Universe.
