Top Paid stars under the age of 30
Oh to be young and rich. The dream of most youths around the world, the reality of only some. Forbes has release its list of Top-Paid Stars under the age of 30 years old. Six of those stars are Female, and five of that six are singers. They in fact dominate the list as 7 of the top 10 are in the music industry, the others…Twilight stars.
The list is toped but country pop sensation Taylor Swift as Forbes deems to highlight the celebrities who made the most money in the entertainment industry over the past year. The 22 year old Swift earned $57 million in the 12 months to May, a period that included here North American and Australasian leg of her wildly successful Speak Now tour.
Forbes said each Swift concert raked in an average of $1-million, with multi-platinum album sales and product endorsements topping up her wealth. She is expected to release a new album in October.
Forbes said it considered “album and concert sales, movie paydays, profit participation, endorsements and advertising work,” and interviewed showbiz insiders such as managers and agents, in coming up with its under-30 list.
It did not deduct agent fees or what it called “expenses related to being a celebrity.”
