Invisible Art???? Seriously???
I came across a very startling article in the South African Art Times recently.
“Is art invisible to the naked eye any less potent than that which we are able to see?”
What we can see in the gallery are small groups of individuals browsing around an empty art gallery looking at nothing. The question i’d like to ask is HOW DESPERATE ARE PEOPLE TO BE ENTERTAINED???
This is what Post-Modernism is all about, nothing. For centuries now the elitist institutions of the art world have been trying their damnedest to keep the freedom of art out of the hands of the ordinary man by concocting up superfluous conceptual works that mean nothing. Keeping artworks this drenched in conceptual academic dribble keeps the guys who can’t afford to go to university out of the art game, simple as that.
