Spain and Italy played out to a 1 – 1 stalemate in a result that would be negative for the former but good for the latter considering the dire straits the country finds itself in, with match fixing scandals and other national dramas dogging the Azzuri.

International Test Rugby

The All Blacks comprehensively defeated Ireland in their one sided first Test match of the Season. Julian Savea scoring a hat trick in the 42 – 10 win. New All Blacks coach Steve Hansen was pleased with the result.

Then the Springboks took on England in Durban on Saturday. The first match of Heyneke Meyers tenure as Bok coach resulted in a 22 – 17 win for the men in Green. In Boxing we had Pacman losing to Bradley a decision that has brought its own controversy. Had to go to the Judges for this one as no Knock out was forthcoming. Two Judges ruled 115-113 to Bradley and one 115-113 to Pacquiao giving the latter his first lose since 1995

French Open Tennis

But the biggest stalemate of them all came in the French Open Final. Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic are still playing in their rain delayed match up. Currently Rafa Nadal vs. Novak Djokovic stands at 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 1-2 with a conclusion in play planned for 1pm today.
