Bye Pitso Bye

Over the course of last night news has spread of the sacking of Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane by SAFA. This has been verified by most media agencies, after a below par opening fixture versus Ethiopia this past weekend.

But below par is what we’ve come to expect from the embattled ex coach, in my opinion always too arrogant and never actually producing anything to back it up. His record stands: played 16 matches, won six, drew seven and lost three.

So South Africa again sits without a Coach for its national Football team with successors lined up from all side. I just wish SAFA will at long last take off its biased blinkers and pick either Gordon Igesund or Gavin Hunt. The two coach with the best domestic record of all. Maybe the problem is, they are both white? The other front runner would be Steve Kompela, Again.
