Nick Diaz back to his old tricks

Image

Mixed Martial Artist and UFC welterweight fighter Nick Diaz was a no show this past weekend for a Brasilian jujitsu super fight against Braulio Estima on Saturday in Long Beach, California.

The superfight was setup as a charity event and Diaz had stated initially that he would donate his purse to a charity. The super fight had been promoted for and sold on pay-per-view as well at around $10.

This is not the first time Nick Diaz is a no show, in fact its what hes known for. Diaz had been scheduled to face off against welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre back in 2011 but decided not to show at a few press conferences in the build up to the event. The UFC had secured a deal to get Diaz from Strikeforce but the move meant he had to vacate his welterweight title that he had defended for the California based promotion.

But after his no show to promote his fight with St. Pierre Dana White removed him from the then scheduled main event at UFC 137 and replaced him with Carlos Condit, and Diaz ended up facing off against B.J. Penn.

Diaz is currently is currently facing a suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission after he tested positive for Marijuana metabolites after his Interim Welterweight championship fight with Carlos Condit at UFC 143.

Nick Diaz is one of, if not the best welterweight in all of MMA but he needs to handle his outside of the cage antics before they cost him more than a belt. His behavior right now is slowly tarnishing his reputation, it could really hurt his career and his legacy.

Nick Diaz is an incredibly gifted athlete/fighter. Like Einstein, Van Gogh, and other great talents…Diaz has a screw loose. It is what it is. Seriously though…He’s making hundreds of thousands of dollars….Someone should have a job for $50,000/year solely dedicated to making sure he attends events. Can’t be rocket science.

yeah all that would mean is getting someone to come in and get him off the bong just before something important comes up.

That said, i cant wait for him to get back into action and beat up Carlos Condit and then take the title from GSP, nuff said.

You could definitely see your enthusiasm within the work you write. The world hopes for even more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to say how they believe. At all times go after your heart.
