- Stormers vs Cheetahs : Newlands
Watch the Stormers thrash the Vrystaat Cheetahs in this Saturday’s game at the DHL Newlands Stadium. If you can’t make the real deal, Cape Town has lots of great places to catch the match. Invite some friends over or actually make the trip to that sports bar. Its Rugby, Its Cape Town, get involved!

2. Side Show : The FEZ
Haezer & Niskerone: Friday Night Side Show Returns. Anyone into electronic? If so get down to the Fez. Reopening after a long while out. It is one of Cape Town most iconic venues and you should be the just for that reason. Sure to be crazeeee!

3. Kat and the Kings: Theatre
That classic from the late Taliep Petersen and David Kramer is currently playing a the fugard theatre in town. If you haven’t seen it before or just long to see a local classic again do yourself a favour and book for this weekend.

For those that cant get enough of the Barclays Premiership. The Final day of the English elite competition takes place on Sunday. There will be tons of matches all happening at the same time. Whether your rooting for Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, eagerly viewing the relegation battle or hopeless with Liverpool this is a must see. Full list of fixtures below:

To be honest with you, not much is happening as far as I’m aware of this weekend but I hope the above list could give you some ideas. The weather and the fact it being the 3rd weekend since payday I don’t think many people stand with that cash anyway. So have a braai, chill with some red wine or go bos watching the Stormers mangle the Cheetahs on Saturday. Routine would have it that a casual club experience would suffice as well. Be a bookworm and visit Franschoek Literary festival if that’s your thing, most of all enjoy your time away from work.
